Aviva has appointed Mihai Popescu as chief executive of Aviva Romania, the fourth largest life insurance company in Romania.
Aviva has appointed Mihai Popescu as chief executive of Aviva Romania, the fourth largest life insurance company in Romania. Mihai Popescu succeeds Shah Rouf who became chief executive of Aviva Sri Lanka earlier this year.
Mihai Popescu joins Aviva from Alico where he was chief marketing officer. Mihai Popescu’s professional career also includes management roles in sales and marketing at Procter & Gamble’s Balkan division and Citibank Romania.
