Netherlands: Board changes at Delta Lloyd General

Michiel Delfos has been appointed as the successor of Nathalie de Geus with effect from 15 May 2010.

Michiel Delfos has been appointed as the successor of Nathalie de Geus with effect from 15 May 2010. Nathalie de Geus is director of income & absenteeism at Delta Lloyd General and has decided to take sabbatical leave. She will return to Delta Lloyd Group on 1 October 2010.

The Income & Absenteeism Business forms part of Delta Lloyd General and is responsible for the central control of all activities of Delta Lloyd Insurance, OHRA and ABN AMRO Insurance relating to income and absenteeism products.

Since 1997 Michiel Delfos has held various roles in marketing, operations and finance within Delta Lloyd Group. He is currently manager of group planning & control.

On 1 May 2010, Leo van Herk will step down from the board of Delta Lloyd General. He will become an advisor to the board with effect from that same date. His portfolio will be reallocated within the board.
