Netherlands: Delta Lloyd presses ahead with improved pension rates

From 2 April 2009 the rates for a Disability Pension (disability supplement) have been reduced by 25%. In addition, the Statutory Medical Examinations (WMK) supplement has been scrapped entirely for basic plans. Employers and employees are therefore paying considerably lower premiums for a newly arranged collective traditional pension contract with Delta Lloyd.

The rate reduction applies to new contracts and contract extensions. By means of this rate reduction Delta Lloyd is meeting its aim to achieve a position in the top three rates for collective pension products.

Traditional collective pension products
The rate reduction applies to the traditional collective pension products which Delta Lloyd offers to small and medium businesses: the Delta Lloyd Guarantee Pension Plan and the Delta Lloyd Balance Pension Plan.

Existing offers will be recalculated in line with the new rates.

Further information about collective pension insurance policies and this rate reduction can be found on the Delta Lloyd website (www.ddd.nl).
