Wait and see how the market develops? And wait for the setting of a new pension rate? Or take control right now and develop a new pension strategy? On Wednesday 22 April from 2pm to 8pm Delta Lloyd Corporate Clients is holding a national conference with the theme: "Wait and see or take control?". The conference is aimed especially at pension fund administrators, directors and managers. Together with opinion leaders, scientists and renowned businesspeople it will break with traditional ways of thinking in order to come up with new insights.
The aim of the conference is to encourage delegates to start thinking outside the box and to take control themselves in these turbulent times. Speakers from within and outside the pensions sector will inspire the delegates to plot their own course and define their own pension scenario.
The speakers are Jeroen Smit, editor and author of the book The Prey, Herman Pleij, professor of Historical Dutch Literature at the University of Amsterdam, Tom Touber, campaign director for team Delta Lloyd in the Volvo Ocean Race, and Niek Hoek, chairman of the Delta Lloyd NV board of directors. In addition, renowned experts in the field, including Tim Burggraaf, European Partner at Mercer, Gerard Riemen, director of the Industrial Sector Pension Funds Association and Leo Dooper, director of PensioenCoöperatie are participating in the panel discussion.
Conference delegates can take part in active discussions led by the chair Dominique Haijtema, psychologist and journalist. With its Pension Vision Conference 2009, Delta Lloyd Corporate Clients is creating a platform for the exchange of knowledge, providing insights in terms of practical solutions and inspiring delegates with innovative approaches.
