Germany: Delta Lloyd launches a new online platform, Mensch-Makler.de

To coincide with the DKM trade fair in Dortmund, Delta Lloyd has launched a new interactive online portal, Mensch-Makler.de. This neutral platform gives brokers from the financial services industry the opportunity to blog stories from their everyday working lives or to sound out the mood of the sector using short surveys.

To coincide with the DKM trade fair in Dortmund, the Wiesbaden-based financial services provider, Delta Lloyd, has launched a new interactive online portal, Mensch-Makler.de. In line with the motto "brokers are only human too", this neutral platform gives brokers from the financial services industry the opportunity to blog stories from their everyday working lives or to sound out the mood of the sector using short surveys. Delta Lloyd's sole contribution to this is to provide the technical framework and to moderate discussions, with content to be supplied by its users. The best stories posted will then compete for prizes early next year, as part of a part competition to find the best broker experience.

Website with entertainment value
Mensch-Makler.de is a forum for brokers to swap tips and exchange experiences, but above all, it is about entertainment. As well as brokers' stories, it will also feature short videos on subjects relevant to the profession.

Reports from the DKM trade fair
This is also why the Mensch-Makler TV team visited the DKM trade fair in Dortmund, one of the most important events of the year for financial brokers. The team interviewed brokers for their impressions and opinions, which it published in a short video on the platform shortly after the trade fair.

"Delta Lloyd has been focusing hard on broker sales for some years now. We have been cultivating intense relations with many partners and it is always very important to us to see brokers not just as sales partners, but also as people. With this new forum, we are giving even more focus to this aspect and very much hope that it will become established as a communication platform", explained Wolfgang Fuchs, commercial director with Delta Lloyd Deutschland AG.
