Aviva plc (“Aviva”) has appointed Scott Wheway to the board as a new independent non-executive director with effect from 5 December 2007.
Aviva plc ("Aviva") has appointed Scott Wheway to the board as a new independent non-executive director with effect from 5 December 2007.
Scott Wheway was most recently managing director of Boots the Chemist at Alliance Boots - a role he held until July of this year when KKR and Stefano Pessina took ownership of the company - and prior to that held the role of retail director, responsible for 1,600 stores. Before joining Boots, Scott spent 20 years at Tesco where he worked his way up from the shop floor to roles including stores director, change director and operations director before being appointed CEO of Tesco in Japan where he established the business and shaped the long-term strategy for the country.
