Delta Lloyd to acquire Cyrte Investments

Aviva plc announces that its Dutch business, Delta Lloyd group has agreed to acquire Cyrte Investments.

Aviva plc ("Aviva") announces that its Dutch business, Delta Lloyd group ("Delta Lloyd") has agreed to acquire Cyrte Investments.

Cyrte Investments had assets under management of €500 million at 31 December 2006.

The acquisition of Cyrte Investments will enable Delta Lloyd Asset Management to develop new investment concepts, in line with its strategy of managing profitable funds with a distinctive investment profile.

Definitive documentation will be signed shortly.
