France: Aviva France sells holding in Société Foncière Lyonnaise

Aviva plc announces that its subsidiary Aviva France has sold its 31.4% holding in Société Foncière Lyonnaise (SFL), a listed French property company, to Inmobiliaria Colonial, S.A., for €427 million.

Aviva plc ("Aviva") announces that its subsidiary Aviva France has sold its 31.4% holding in Société Foncičre Lyonnaise (SFL), a listed French property company, to Inmobiliaria Colonial, S.A., for €427 million.

Aviva’s 2003 accounts included €398 million relating to its share of SFL’s net assets and €5.7 million relating to the share of pre-tax operating profits, excluding capital gains.
