Aviva has previously announced Mike Biggs’s resignation from his position as group finance director and that he will leave the company on 31 December 2003.

Aviva has previously announced Mike Biggs’s resignation from his position as group finance director and that he will leave the company on 31 December 2003.

The search for a successor is well underway and an announcement will be made in due course. Until an appointment is finalised, Philip Twyman, group executive director, will take on the responsibility of the group finance director role from 1 January 2004, in addition to his current responsibility for Morley Fund Management. He was group finance director for General Accident plc, a predecessor company, from 1996 to 1998.
