Commercial Union Lithuania has organised a children's art competition for the second year running.
The theme this year reflected Aviva's Forward Thinking philosophy: "The future we will live in."
Children painted pictures of the future they imagine, submitting more than 2,500 paintings from 250 schools, colleges and orphanages across the country.
All paintings were evaluated by local celebrities, including famous artists and government officials. Each city held an exhibition and event with awards for the authors of the best works.
CU sales agents across the country and staff from head office were engaged in the whole process of organising the competition and awards events.
The culmination of the competition was a two-day, open-air exhibition in Vilnius, Lithuania's capital. Six of the most talented works had been nominated by the final jury. The exhibition of the best paintings and the award-giving ceremony were the most important moments of the event for children who came to Vilnius from around the country.
Asta Ungulaitiene, CU Lithuania general manager, said: "We believe that forward thinking ideas in children's paintings will be a spur for adults to take care of a safe, well-provided future of their families. Our children show us the imagination of the future world they would love to live in."
