Sodra has transferred 10.3 million litai into the pension fund account of the life insurance and pensions company Aviva Lithuania for the third quarter of 2009.
Aviva Lithuania has already paid the citizens’ social insurance payment dividend received from Sodra for the third quarter of 2009 into its clients’ personal pension fund accounts: 6.8 million litai of the newly received money has been invested in the Europension Plus fund; another 1.8 million litai has been invested in the Europension fund; and 1.7 million litai in the Europension Extra fund.
Aviva Lithuania’s pension funds Europension, Europension Plus and Europension Extra have respectively earned, since the beginning of 2009 until 9 December 2009, increased returns of +11.92 %, +11.97 % and +15.76 %. With this new influx of money, client assets controlled by the Aviva Lithuania pension funds now total 424.1 million litai, ie 19.5 million litai more than all the money transferred by Sodra to the company’s pension funds since the pensions system was reformed at the beginning of 2003.
The company’s pension fund client base is currently in excess of 150,000. In terms of numbers of clients, Aviva Lithuania is one of the three largest firms in Lithuania offering Level II pension accumulation services. The company has around 500 professional financial consultants all over Lithuania, who can competently advise on pension accumulation and life insurance questions.
