France: An active September for Aviva Vie

The first half of 2008 was characterised by a worsening of the financial crisis, which had a major impact on investor behaviour. Against this backdrop of uncertainty, marked by extreme market volatility, Aviva Vie will this September be adapting its range of commercial products to savers on the basis of their investor profiles and investment horizons.

Amongst other things, these offers aim to respond to the issues of individuals with considerable capital which they wish to invest with peace of mind, despite fluctuations on the financial markets.

Aviva Lisséo September 2009
This September 2008, Aviva Lisséo will- for the first time ever- be broken down into three separate products, on offer from 3 September 2008 until 19 December 2008(1): Aviva Lisséo September 2009, Aviva Lisséo Premium September 2009 and Aviva Lisséo Super Premium September 2009.

With Aviva Lisséo September 2009, savers put their capital into the guaranteed fund available under the offer, with a rate of 4.50% net(2). This rate rises to 5%(2) net with Aviva Lisséo Premium and to 5.40%(2) with Aviva Lisséo Super Premium. These three products also have different minimum investment levels (€15,000, €30,000 and €60,000 respectively).

Then, automatic free monthly arbitrage regularly invests the savings in units of account selected by the client.

These Aviva Lisséo options allow customers to ease themselves into unit-linked funds, spreading their investment out over time, thus limiting risk. This type of investment also offers a certain flexibility in the choice of funds used, as the client can at any time change the monthly arbitrage target funds from among the list of eligible funds.

Loyalty bonus
What's more, from 3 September 2008 to 30 November 2008(1), Aviva Vie is offering its clients a 30% reduction on deposit charges(4) on contracts of over eight years. This offer allows Aviva Vie to reward the loyalty of its clients looking to build a long-term relationship.

Good Advice arbitrage
For customers who feel that the market has hit its lowest point and wish to move towards units of accounts which will allow them to take advantage of the long-term potential of the share markets, Aviva is pleased to offer (from 3 September 2008 until 31 October 2008(1)) "Good Advice arbitrage". This option allows all customers to take advantage of free arbitrage from Euro funds into units of account. The minimum sum for arbitrage is the one applicable to the contract.

These offers are fully in line with Aviva's Good Advice policy- to help all of its customers to decide on the best way to place assets on the basis of their personal situation, and to allow them to feel fully confident in the explanation of the beneficiary clause, a key element of life insurance.
