In 2007 annual sales of Aviva group - the European leader and the fifth largest insurance group in the world - increased by 25% compared to 2006, reaching £38.6 billion (181.68 billion litai), which is more than analysts predicted.

Regardless of market instability, the financial services provider, Aviva group, is experiencing stable growth, and last year Aviva group business expanded rapidly in Asia and the US. The Aviva group operates in more than 25 countries and has 40 million clients. Aviva group offers a wide variety of services all over the world.
"Although financial service markets are suffering due to current economic uncertainty, I do believe that sales and profits for our group will continue to grow, justifying our goals for 2008. We will continue to pay the most attention to client relations and the expansion of Aviva's integral vision," states Aviva group's chief executive Andrew Moss.
Aviva Lithuania, part of the Aviva group, has operated in Lithuania for the past seven years. Up until the end of 2007 it was called Commercial Union Lithuania Life Insurance.
"We are also very excited to keep pace with the overall growth of the company - Aviva Lithuania sales for 2007 (annual premiums for new contracts) were up 51% compared to those of 2006, equalling 31 million litai. During 2007 the company signed 46% more premiums than during 2006 - totalling 70.9 million litai. We are grateful for the united company strategy and the socially responsible business values, both of which we are determined to keep as a guide in our everyday activities, and, especially, in dealing with our clients," says Asta Ungulaitienė, general manager of Aviva Lithuania.
Aviva Group invested 44 million litai. into Aviva Lithuania. The company currently has 170,000 clients in Lithuania.
