Starting from today, you can access this very thing via the website www.aviva.ro/fun, on which Aviva has posted some software boldly entitled: "I'm not afraid to see how I'm going to age", which will offer all visitors the chance to have an image of themselves 20-30 years in the future.

An imaginary dialogue which could be adapted to any context:
"Everyone's talking about pensions nowadays!"

In childhood, we all imagine that there is "youth without aging and life without death", to quote the fairy tale of the same name by Petre Ispirescu. Starting from today, you can access this very thing via the website www.aviva.ro/fun, on which Aviva has posted some software boldly entitled: "I'm not afraid to see how I'm going to age", which will offer all visitors the chance to have an image of themselves 20-30 years in the future.
There is a stark message behind this: "Look to the future, just as Aviva has been doing for over 300 years!" By following three simple steps, you'll discover what you'll look like when you retire... in a matter of seconds!
And just wait for the huge surprise you'll get!
The reason why Aviva has posted this software on its website is to raise awareness amongst Romanians of the importance of planning for your financial future when you are still young, when you are in a position to make a constructive choice about your future.
This application completes the communication campaign for the Pensia Viva mandatory private pension product, started by Aviva on 17 September 2007.
"By taking a fun approach, we want to persuade people to focus at an early stage on their financial future, because the planning for this has to be done when you are young. Because that is when we have the chance to save for retirement, and the earlier we start the greater chance we have of building up a sufficient amount of money to provide us with a guaranteed income in retirement," stated Shah Rouf, CEO Aviva Romania.

On 17 September 2007 Aviva launched a campaign to promote its mandatory private pension product "Pensia Viva". At the forefront of the campaign is Mihaela Rădulescu, in her capacity as ambassador for the Aviva brand, together with her mother, who has chosen to be alongside Mihaela in this campaign.
The TV advertisement begins with Mihaela's mother telling everyone about pensions and the only private pensions provider with over 300 years' experience: Aviva. Just as she goes on to state that there's no point talking about pensions when you're already advanced in years and that people should take action when they're young, her image changes into that of Mihaela. The advert finishes with Mihaela talking about the pension product offered by Aviva - Pensia Viva and about the three promises that Aviva makes to its customers: value, growth and security.
I chose as the basis for communication the concept "Retirement can be wonderful", built around the idea "The choices you make when you're young will determine your financial future when you're a pensioner."

The initial creative idea was arrived at internally, with Punct Advertising being the agency which brought the concept together across all the different media. The media buyer is Starcom Media.
The campaign will run over the period 17 September 2007 - 17 January 2008, and will be carried by the majority of conventional media outlets (TV - 10 channels, radio, outdoor, internet, indoor, the printed press, transit media) and the unconventional (escalators and revolving doors in shopping malls, handles inside underground trains, newspaper kiosks etc.).
The campaign is being run nationally, with a target audience of 18-45 year-olds.
