Morley Fund Management, one of the UK’s largest fund managers, has made three appointments to its marketing team. Mark Ward has been appointed head of channel marketing, Dipak Chouhan has been appointed product specialist – equities and Nina Harris has been appointed institutional marketing manager.

Mark Ward has been appointed head of channel marketing, Dipak Chouhan has been appointed product specialist – equities and Nina Harris has been appointed institutional marketing manager.
Commenting on Dipak’s appointment, Morley’s head of marketing David Norman said the rationale behind hiring a product specialist coincided with the recent requirement in high alpha UK equities space.
“We have boosted Morley’s high alpha UK equity capabilities; now we are bolstering the specialist investment support available to the internal sales teams so that we can clearly articulate our fund propositions to existing and prospective clients.
“Dipak has joined a newly created team of product specialists. He will focus on emerging markets, global equities and high alpha UK equities. Other specialists in this team focus on fixed income and liability driven investment (LDI) and specialist products such as tactical asset allocation (TAA), quant and strategy funds, and socially responsible investment”, he said.
Commenting on Mark and Nina’s appointment, David Norman said both hires will strength Morley’s channel marketing team.
“Mark has joined to lead our channel marketing team in developing and implementing sales and marketing plans for key distribution partners and channels: Norwich Union, strategic partners, wholesale, institutional, alternatives and Europe. Nina will lead our institutional marketing effort and develop attractive propositions aimed at expanding Morley’s presence in the institutional market”, he said
Both Mark and Dipak report to David Norman and Nina reports to Mark Ward.
Mark Ward joined Morley in July after a six-year stint at Fidelity International where his last role was head of marketing for the UK Financial Institutions Group. He has more than 15 years industry experience gained at Fidelity, Gartmore and Save & Prosper.
Dipak Chouhan joined Morley in June from Fidelity International where he was a Product Specialist responsible for marketing activities designed to grow institutional and retail fund sales. He has more than 10 years industry experience and prior to joining Fidelity he worked for Schroders Investment Management.
Nina Harris joined Morley in March from ABN AMRO Mellon where she was a marketing manager. She has more than 10 years industry experience and prior to joining ABN AMRO Mellon she worked as a marketing manager for Beaumont Capital Management and as an institutional business development manager at First State Investment Managers in Australia.
