Morley Fund Management, one of Europe’s largest fund managers, has appointed Mark Westwood as UK equity fund manager in the Core UK Equities Team. Mark joins on 16 May 2005 and will report to Lloyd Whitworth, head of core UK equities.
Morley Fund Management, one of Europe’s largest fund managers, has appointed Mark Westwood as UK equity fund manager in the Core UK Equities Team. Mark joins on 16 May 2005 and will report to Lloyd Whitworth, head of core UK equities.
Mark joins from Legg Mason Investments where he is currently manager of the Legg Mason UK Equity, UK Income and UK Opportunities Funds, as well as institutional funds. He started his career at Johnson Fry as Assistant Manager on their UK Equity Fund.
At Morley Mark will be working on the main life funds.

The Core UK Equities team was formed in 2004 as part of Katherine Garrett-Cox’s restructure of Morley’s investment team. In November Lloyd Whitworth was promoted to head of team and the desk was boosted further in December with the addition of equity analysts, Colin Pratt and Neil Wesley.
