Morley Fund Management, one of the UK’s largest fund managers, has expanded its institutional team by appointing a head of strategic consultant relations and a head of client communication.

Head of strategic consultant relations
Morley has appointed Angus Scrace as head of strategic consultant relations. Angus will lead Morley’s Consultant Relations Team, reporting to Alistair Morrison, managing director of institutional.
Angus brings 19 years experience in the accounting and investment industry in the UK. He joins Morley from Fidelity Investments where he was a director and head of the Consultant Relationships Team. Prior to Fidelity, Angus was at Coopers & Lybrand where he was head of national communications.
Head of client communication
Morley has also appointed John Somers as head of client communication, reporting to Paul Waters, head of relationship management. John joins Morley from Invesco Perpetual where he was investment information manager and provided marketing support for Invesco UK’s retail, institutional and offshore businesses.
Alistair Morrison said: "Angus and John will bring in valuable experience, passion and energy to these new roles within Morley’s institutional team – helping us to meet the ambitious targets which we have set for ourselves in improving the quality of our service to clients and in winning new business in the consultant-intermediated institutional marketplace."
