Morley Fund Management, one of the UK's largest fund managers, has appointed Caroline Brown as head of credit analysis. She will report to Paul Mingay, head of credit within Morley's fixed income team, and joins on 12 January 2004.
Morley Fund Management, one of the UK's largest fund managers, has appointed Caroline Brown as head of credit analysis. She will report to Paul Mingay, head of credit within Morley's Fixed Income team, and joins on 12 January 2004.
Caroline joins from Credit Suisse Asset Management, where she has been head of European Credit Research since 2002.
Prior to her current position, she spent eight years in credit research within the Fixed Income division of Goldman Sachs International in London, where she gained extensive experience across a wide spectrum of the credit markets, including a particular focus on high yield. Her career in credit spans nearly 20 years, including positions at Chemical Bank and GE Capital Corporation, both in New York.
Caroline is a graduate of Yale University, and holds an MBA from Columbia University, New York.
Commenting on the new role, Ceris Williams, head of Fixed Income at Morley Fund Management, said: "We are committed to enhancing our already very strong resource in the fixed income markets, and are delighted to recruit someone of Caroline's qualities, and experience in credit analysis, to lead our team of credit analysts. The fixed income team employs 47 investment professionals based in London, Singapore and an associate office in Boston, managing, amongst others, segregated and pooled pension funds as well as a number of high profile retail funds.
