Norwich Union Healthcare won the most prestigious prize at the Health Insurance Awards, being named Health Insurance Company of the Year for the third year running.
The healthcare arm of Norwich Union also carried off the award for Best Individual Private Medical Insurance provider and Best Cash Plan provider.
In addition, Norwich Union won the top awards for Best Use of Marketing - for the second year - and Best Customer Service - for its healthcare, long term care and critical illness insurance businesses.
Norwich Union Healthcare came second in the Group Private Medical Insurance, Best Individual Income Protection and Best Group Income Protection categories, and third for Best International PMI.
And Norwich Union earned second prize for Best e-business, and third for Best Long Term Care.
Norwich Union Healthcare commercial director Tim Baker said: "We are very proud of our continued success in these awards, which is due to our efforts to introduce new and innovative products into the market and our commitment to developing and improving customer service.
"We are especially pleased as these awards are voted for by intermediaries who have first-hand experience of our business at all levels. The fact that Norwich Union Healthcare has won Company of the Year for the third year running is testament to the hard work and commitment of all our staff."
Judging for the awards, which are run by Health Insurance Magazine, took place via a survey of more than 400 independent financial advisers who were asked their opinions of insurance companies' products and services.
The awards were presented at a ceremony at the London Hilton.
