About the project
We are inviting everyone to participate by contributing items or memories that help us capture the milestones, innovations, and achievements that define DLG – from its foundation to the present day.
Whether it’s photos, documents, or a nodding Churchie, your contribution will help illuminate the past for future generations.
If you have any items you wish to donate, or a story to tell, then we'd love to hear from you.

Did you know?
The Aviva Group Archive holds records that represent more than 325 years of our history – a rich tapestry we're keen for DLG to join.
What we're looking for
We would love original copies of any material produced by Direct Line Group and its constituent companies. This might include paper records, photographs, or objects – items such as staff magazines, posters, or branded merchandise.
The Archive also collects digital material, whether digitised physical records or those "born-digital".
We can accept a variety of formats and media, including those that are no longer current.
Still unsure? Check the FAQs below for more examples, or drop us a line to find out more.

Do you have a story to tell?
We're also eager to document the personal experiences of staff from across Direct Line Group’s constituent companies, so we are seeking individuals to take part in oral history interviews.
We want to preserve all perspectives of the DLG story, which means capturing details about your role, team, and achievements.
They will then be added to a growing collection that documents the company’s activities across all levels.
Please email us if you are interested in participating.
