- Churchill celebrates birthday by launching National ‘Oh Yes’ Day
Churchill Insurance today announced it will be celebrating its birthday on the 22nd October and to mark the occasion, it is launching National ‘Oh Yes’ Day’ to coincide with the event.
The insurer is calling on people across the country to say ‘Oh Yes’ to the things that make them happy. From indulging with cake or a cocktail, to booking that overdue weekend away with friends. October 22nd is a day to throw caution to the wind and say ‘yes’ to the things we most enjoy.
The famous Churchill mascot will celebrate his birthday in style on the day, with a Facebook competition, birthday party and personalised merchandise.
Starting out in 1989, the much loved Churchill mascot has entertained audiences with his pantomime appearances, launched his own hot air balloon and even released his own music single.
With almost 43,000 likes on his Facebook page, the UK’s most famous ‘nodding dog’ is giving his Facebook friends the chance to win £1,000 to spend on the things they would love to say ‘Oh Yes’ to on National ‘Oh Yes’ Day.
