In line with the business strategy of "owning the child space", Aviva today announced the launch of Child Future Planning Experts (CFPE), recognizing the customer need for specialized advice and creating value for the financial planning advisers (FPAs). The company has plans to train close to 10% of the sales force as CFPEs with a defined objective to increase their productivity by 40%. In the pilot itself, the 300 odd advisers trained as CFPE have recorded a growth of 78% in business generated by them.
Speaking on the occasion, Munish Sharda, director – DSF said: “The idea of Child Future Planning Experts stems from the recognition that a parent is grossly under saved when it comes to his/her child’s future educational needs as per the Aviva Education Insights conducted by IMRB. We also realized that the customers are interested in quality advice when it comes to saving for their children’s future. Hence we worked with many experts around the industry to create a specialized training module for Child Future Planners with an objective to increase the productivity of our advisers by 40%.”
The training module has been designed with inputs from Amar Pandit, a well known financial planning adviser and Holistic Training Solutions (HTS) an expert in the area of recognizing and planning for child’s needs. The training programme is comprehensive and provides the right impetus to the FPA to address the concerns of young parents in line with our brand promise of Education is Insurance.
This module is a first of its kind’s initiative by a life insurance company which not only helps address customer needs in a better way but also provides necessary skill sets to the agents to make them more productive and explore beyond their natural market.
