Over the first half of this year the life insurance and pension company Aviva Lithuania has earned a profit of 5.9 million litai.
Over the first half of this year the life insurance and pension company Aviva Lithuania has earned a profit of 5.9 million litai. That is 16% more than for the same period last year (5.1 million litai). Despite the difficult times being experienced by the financial markets, Aviva Lithuania’s earnings for this year have stayed at a similar level as for last year. Furthermore, profits from investment activity have grown significantly this year, to 7.8 million litai.
Aviva Lithuania general manager Asta Ungulaitienė explains that: “we have attained these profitable results by undertaking a judicious program of expenditure reduction. We are working cautiously and reliably maintaining the profit levels of the previous year, thereby reflecting client confidence in our company in these difficult economic times.”
The number of Aviva Lithuania life insurance and pension fund clients is currently more than 190,000. Aviva Lithuania is a member of the international Aviva group. The Aviva group operates in 28 countries and serves 50 million clients.
