Aviva Investors today announced it has appointed Erich Gerth as global business development director to lead the firm’s business development and marketing capabilities.
Aviva Investors today announced it has appointed Erich Gerth as global business development director to lead the firm’s business development and marketing capabilities.
Erich will be based in London and report to Aviva Investors CEO Alain Dromer, as a member of the executive committee. He will begin his new role in July 2009, where he will be responsible for Aviva Investors’ business development strategy and implementation on a global basis. He will also lead and grow the firm’s relationships with clients and consultants.
Erich has over 22 years of asset management experience as a business leader and sales manager across a broad range of international markets. Most recently Erich was CEO of Janus International, where he was responsible for Janus Capital’s non-US institutional and financial institutions businesses – (Europe, Asia, Japan, Australia).
Prior to Janus he was the vice president, national sales director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management where he led US intermediary mutual fund and managed money sales teams. He also developed strategic relationships with key senior executives at a range of US and global financial institutions.
