Tele-underwriting successfully established; tele-claiming is the next step – Direct telephone support in the case of a claim – Fast help, no bureaucracy.
The Wiesbaden-based financial services provider Delta Lloyd is expanding its range of occupational disability services after the successful introduction of its tele-underwriting service to include tele-claiming. This new service will offer customers comprehensive advice by telephone, to support them in this difficult situation and to help them as quickly as possible.
First contact with 24 hours
Within 24 hours of receipt of an occupational disability claim, the customer will receive a call to clarify the current situation and to find out how best they can be helped. An individual questionnaire will then be compiled to request all necessary details, for example the customer’s last occupation and current state of health.
Telephone support
The customer can access support from Delta Lloyd by telephone to assist them in completing the form or get help from their broker. After the questionnaire has been analysed, a proposal of the possible benefits is made and a course of action is agreed with the customer. In most cases, this is also organised by telephone, but a meeting can take place when necessary. In this case the customer will be offered specifically-tailored solutions for professional or medical rehabilitation, among other things. Their broker will of course be kept informed about all steps. Initial feedback on this service from both brokers and customers is very positive. Customers appreciate the comprehensive help service, while the brokers are relieved of some responsibilities.
