After the sharp drops suffered by the financial markets over the year 2008, current levels may be a starting point of great interest to the saver with a long-term investment horizon. However, given the extreme volatility of the market, it is difficult to work out when is the best time to invest. As part of its Good Advice approach and to help savers to invest in the financial markets whilst always making sure of a cash reserve, Aviva has launched Aviva Lisséo Duo Janvier 2010, an operation allowing savers to invest gradually in the financial markets using monthly transfers free of charge, whilst keeping part of their investment in a secure fund.
The saver puts a maximum of 70% of his or her capital into the guaranteed fund on offer; from the next month onwards, free automatic transfers every month will redirect part of the savings into eligible units of account from the OPCVM range of Aviva Investors France. The remaining maximum 30% can be invested in a 100%-guaranteed fund until 08/01/2010, in order to cover any cash requirements.
This new option brings a concrete response to clients who want:
- To put money into the financial markets gradually throughout the course of 2009;
- But also to invest part of their capital in a guaranteed product with a competitive rate.
Aviva Lisséo Duo Janvier 2010 is available in three different options from 24 December 2008 to 27 March 2009, with three highly attractive levels of guaranteed rates:
- Aviva Lisséo Duo Janvier 2010: annual 4.80%1 net, minimum investment €12,0002,
- Aviva Lisséo Duo Premium Janvier 2010: annual 5.20%1 net, minimum investment €30,000 (€12,000 if the payments are scheduled on the contract2)
- Aviva Lisséo Duo Super Premium Janvier 2010: annual 5.60%1 net, minimum investment €80,000 (€30,000 if the payments are scheduled on the contract) 2
True to its Good Advice approach, Aviva's Aviva Lisséo Duo Janvier 2010 demonstrates its commitment to put a close relationship with the saver at the heart of its strategy. Given an ongoing financial crisis and an economic crisis which is starting to take hold, Aviva is providing solutions which are adapted to the needs and objectives of its savers.
