Since the platform was launched on 15 October 2008, it has already attracted 4,500 unique users, 140 subscribers to the monthly newsletter and 130 brokers have registered.
One month ago, the Wiesbaden-based financial services provider Delta Lloyd launched its interactive online portal Mensch-Makler.de to resounding success: since then, 4,500 unique users have visited the site, 140 have subscribed to the monthly newsletter and 130 brokers have registered, allowing them to make their own contributions to the portal or post surveys. "It has been an enormous success and shows that with our platform, we have captured the mood of the moment and correctly identified the needs and interests of brokers", said a delighted Wolfgang Fuchs, commercial director of Delta Lloyd Deutschland AG.
Informative and entertaining
Mensch-Makler.de is a forum for brokers to swap tips and exchange experiences, but above all, it is about entertainment. The online platform offers brokers from the financial services sector the opportunity to blog stories from their everyday working lives or to sound out the mood of the sector using short surveys. Delta Lloyd's sole contribution to this is to provide the technical framework and to moderate discussions, with content to be supplied by its users. The best stories posted will compete for prizes, as part of a competition early next year to find the best broker experience.
Videos from the DKM trade fair
From tomorrow 14 November 2008, videos from the DKM trade fair will be available on the platform at www.mensch-makler.de/. The Mensch-Makler TV team visited this most important event of the year for the financial and insurance sector, interviewing brokers for their impressions and opinions of the portal.
