Almost all Delta Lloyd Group policyholders who are affiliated to the Woekerpolisclaim Foundation have voted in favour of the agreement with the Delta Lloyd Group. This is the finding of a survey published today by the Woekerpolisclaim Foundation. A total of 2,729 votes were received, of which 2,684 were in favour and 45 against. The response to the survey is very high: 75% of Delta Lloyd Group's policyholders used their vote.
Niek Hoek, chairman of the board of directors of Delta Lloyd Group is delighted with this outcome: "This appears to be a very broad swathe of opinion in favour of the agreement which we have reached with the consumer organisations, and if this is the case it will contribute to a definitive solution to the issue under contention."
On 9 September Delta Lloyd Group reached an agreement with the Verliespolis and Woekerpolisclaim foundations over a financial compensation arrangement for policyholders with private investment insurance. It was agreed then with the foundations that they would put the agreement forward for approval by the policyholders affiliated to them. The findings of the Woekerpolisclaim survey show that this condition has been more than met. The Verliespolis Foundation will shortly be conducting a poll of its affiliated policyholders.
