With the takeover of Erasmus Verzekeringen in 2007, NOWM Verzekeringen and Risk Consultants BV became part of Delta Lloyd.
With the takeover of Erasmus Verzekeringen in 2007, NOWM Verzekeringen and Risk Consultants BV became part of Delta Lloyd. In order to hold on to the knowledge and skills of these companies, the decision has been taken to allow NOWM to remain an independent brand within Delta Lloyd Schade, starting from 14 July 2008. NOWM is to form a separate team within the Property Insurance Centre in Amsterdam. The advisors and experts at Risk Consultants are to be controlled from Delta Lloyd Schade from now on.
Brokerage
If insurance consultants want to take advantage of the services provided by NOWM, they need to have a NOWM brokership in addition to the normal Delta Lloyd brokership. If insurance consultants do not yet have this brokership, they can make use of an accelerated recruitment policy via their account manager.
Impact on employees
NOWM and Risk Consultants employ a total workforce of 49. Of this number, 21 have been taken on by Delta Lloyd, whilst 19 have found a new job in the Groningen region and nine have taken early retirement.
NOWM and Risk Consultants are both well-respected companies which specialise in garage insurance and comprehensive fire insurance. The takeover has helped Delta Lloyd Insurance to significantly consolidate its position on the Dutch market.
