The management company was selected through a poll of readers of the magazine who have taken into consideration the company's five Morningstar stars and the higher than average profitability of its funds.
The figures for Aviva Gestión de Inversiones support this recognition: its equity fund increased in value by 7.59%, compared with an average of 3.95 for the product. The annual weighted yield from the last five years has been 14.87%, which is also higher than average.
The prize was awarded at the Madrid stock exchange building, and the ceremony was attended by José Caturla, Alfonso Benito, Iván Martín and José María Lecube who collected the document naming the company as best pension fund manager 2007.
