Netherlands: Ombudsman’s recommendation

Delta Lloyd Group has noted the recommendation from the Dutch Financial Services Ombudsman, Mr J W Wabeke.

Delta Lloyd Group has noted the recommendation from the Dutch Financial Services Ombudsman, Mr J W Wabeke. We feel that the recommendation poses tough requirements, especially in terms of financial consequences. Insurance companies are often accused of a lack of transparency, but as the Ombudsman himself acknowledges, there are several parties with responsibility for it here. We stated, though, that we would go along with a recommendation from the Ombudsman and that is what we are going to do.
