Romanians prefer the direct approach when they intend to buy financial products or services, according to a study by Aviva.
Consequently, Romania occupies third place in a group of nations who prefer to meet directly with a financial consultant, with 90% of respondents expressing this preference. In first place were Sri Lankans and in last place were the Dutch.
"The results of the market research that we carried out confirmed that, when making a purchasing decision, the basic criteria for Romanians are trust and security. I believe that Aviva is one of the few brands in the financial sector that fulfils these criteria. I am proud that we are able to highlight the fact that we have a sales team of over 33,000 highly trained people, and one of the best investment teams in the country," stated Shah Rouf, CEO of Aviva Romania.
The main aim of this market study, conducted during the course of last year in over 20 countries across four continents, was to determine the attitude of respondents to long-term saving. Aviva aims to come in line with its customers' wishes by constantly improving its range of financial products and services and the results provided through this study make a significant contribution to this aim.
The same study highlighted the fact than Romanians prefer insurance companies when they are thinking of joining a private pension fund.
