Aviva, a major player in life insurance and long-term savings, asset management and non-life insurance, will have its employees and neighbours running for charity in France's 2007 Telethon.

Aviva has organised an exceptional 24-hour, non-stop relay event, from 4pm on Friday 7 to 4 pm on Saturday 8 December, in Bois-Colombes' Parc des Bruyères. The Aviva athletics association, an integral part of the project, will run through the night in a continuous relay for the 24-hours of the event.

For each lap that is completed, Aviva will donate €2 to the Telethon. Last year, the company raised more than €12,000 - a real success that Aviva aims to beat this year, with the participation of its employees, their families and friends, and its neighbours.

The whole community is contributing to this event - businesses, residents and the Bois-Colombes town council - and all have chosen to support the French Muscular Dystrophy Association. It promises to be a fun competition that will give hope to sufferers of the disease.
