Commercial Union Pension Fund, the market leader, was selected as "2007 student product" in the "students' pension" category of the seventh edition of a survey organised by the publisher of student monthly "Dlaczego" and internet service korba pl.
Students participated in the two stage survey by voting on the internet, by completing a slip in "Dlaczego" monthly magazine, or by completing a questionnaire given out at universities. They selected their favourite products and brands in 22 categories.
"Recognition by students gives us particular satisfaction not just because they are one of the most attractive customer groups. They can also more easily compare the offers of various funds and their images since they are keen internet users. They are aware of the significance of their decisions regarding pension fund choice. The distinction of our offer by students is yet another good news for our fund," says Piotr Szczepiórkowski, general manager, Commercial Union Pension Fund company.
Well developed internet functionality also contributes to the attraction of the CU Pension Fund offer. The customers can send electronically all required data to sign membership contract with CU Pension Fund. Then within the online account service they can follow the historical and current value of the account. There is also an option to receive e-mail notifications each time a contribution is paid into their CU Pension Fund account.
From 1999 - the beginning of Poland's pension reform - Commercial Union has been the leader in the pension fund market by number of customers and by assets value. CU Pension Fund has been chosen by more than 2.6 million people and manages assets of value exceeding 36 billion zlotys.
CU Pension Fund achieved very good results in its recent May transfer session. 18,500 clients of other funds switched their pension assets to CU, that is the largest number of people switching funds.
