European markets are at their highest levels in five years. Consequently, the potential for growth is excellent and shares continue to be the asset of choice for the long term. To meet the expectations of its customers, who are looking for both security and the potential return associated with equity market opportunities, Aviva has launched a new financial product with an eight-year lifetime: Aviva Cap 2015. This product joins the current range of unit-linked investment products.
Aviva Cap 2015, available from 4 June to 14 September 2007:
- Protection of the capital at maturity 1
- 100% indexation to the secure performance of the DJ Euro Stoxx 50 index, which is the benchmark index for the eurozone, made up of the 50 largest market capitalisations in France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Finland, Ireland and the Netherlands.
The 3,200-odd simulations carried out on investments similar to AVIVA CAP 2015, launched each working day between 1 January 1987 and 13 April 19992, proved that in more than 83% of cases, the annualised rate of return1 would have been higher than or equal to 4%.
Aviva Cap 2015 is a product to be incorporated into the allocation of assets, both for those who tend to shy away from equity risk even though they know that this market presents the best opportunities in the long term, and for those who have already invested in equity markets and want to maintain an exposure with maximum visibility and security for their returns.
The benefits of Aviva Cap 2015:
- Enhanced readability, thanks to the benchmark index for the eurozone
- Enhanced transparency, thanks to a simple mechanism
- Enhanced protection, thanks to a process of increasing performance security, making it possible to guard against a possible downturn in the markets as maturity approaches, and thanks to a minimum Aviva Cap 2015 redemption value at maturity of 116%1 of the nominal value3.
