Aviva supported Romania's most prestigious dance contest "Dansul Florilor Aviva" at the end of April, a national event that attracted more than 700 contestants.
Dancers aged 6-30 took part in the event, which also attracted top Romanian pop band SIMPLU and was broadcast live on Romanian television.
"This traditional contest is about celebrating talent and life - two things that are at the heart of the Aviva values, so we were delighted to be involved and to support such an event," said Andi McLennan, director of marketing and propositions.
Alferd Schieb, president of Total Dance in Romania said: "We want to thank Aviva for its involvement and support in this contest. Without Aviva we wouldn't have been able to run the contest this year for the first time in 19 years."
This is the second time this year that Aviva Romania has sponsored a national sporting event. In March 2007 Aviva supported the "Cupa Aviva Pelendava" gymnastic contest.
