Aviva Vida y Pensiones, a company specialising in life insurance and pensions that markets its products exclusively through professional brokers, will launch the third issue of its investment product, Aviva Inversión 5, in April.
Aviva Inversión 5 is a single-premium insurance product, which guarantees 100% of the premium paid in plus 100% of the average Eurostoxx 50 stock market index appreciation. Moreover, in the event of the death of the policyholder, the beneficiaries will receive the market value plus an additional €300.
Risk-free profit
The Eurostoxx 50 index includes the 50 largest companies by market capitalisation in the euro-zone countries.
This index appreciated by 15% in 2006 and 6% in the last quarter of that year, which demonstrates the strength of the markets after four consecutive years of gains. However, the growth in profit enjoyed by those companies has been well above the appreciation of recent years, generating an attractive increase in value for those companies.
The marketing window is just one and a half months, until 31 May. Between the premium payment date and 31 May, the investment will generate a return of 8% AER. Furthermore, with this product, the customer has liquidity from day one, for 95% of the market value of the assets.
