Henk Raué joined Delta Lloyd Group after graduating in industrial engineering and management at Eindhoven University of Science, in 1978. He subsequently fulfilled various executive and management positions within Delta Lloyd Group.

Maarten De Groof (49) will be nominated to succeed Henk Raué as managing director and CEO of ABN AMRO Insurances, with effect from 1 February. Maarten de Groof has been in the employ of Delta Lloyd Group since 1999 and has been managing director of Delta Lloyd Life Insurances since 2002.

Onno Verstegen MBA (43) will take over Maarten de Groofs’ responsibilities for the Life businesses of Delta Lloyd Insurances. Onno Verstegen has been chief commercial officer at ABN AMRO Insurances since 2003, and has held several management positions within Delta Lloyd Group. The succession of the CCO position at ABN AMRO Insurances will be taken up later.

Emiel Roozen (38) has been appointed director of Delta Lloyd Life Insurances. Until recently Emiel Roozen was CFO of Delta Lloyd Banking. Emiel Roozen succeeds Martin Heuvelmans (40) who will take up a new director’s position within Delta Lloyd Group soon.

Frank Blankers (managing director), Jos Peeters (Marketing & Sales), Theo Krekel (Finance, Planning & Control) and Ingrid Visscher (HRM) will continue as members of the board. Furthermore Onno Verstegen and Herman Hein Roozen will join the board, in their new roles, with responsibilities for Life and General Insurances respectively.
