eBay.co.uk, the world’s online marketplace, is teaming up with Norwich Union to launch a unique online insurance centre exclusive to eBay users.
The new partnership follows the success of the Driveaway product which offers seven days’ free insurance from Norwich Union for cars bought on eBaymotors.co.uk. The scheme, which launched last March, has been hugely popular with eBay Motors customers.
Now Norwich Union, the UK’s largest insurer, is extending its partnership with eBay.co.uk to launch an online insurance centre . eBay’s 15 million customers can click through to the insurance centre via a series of Norwich Union ads featured throughout the eBay website.
eBay users will be able to use the central ‘insurance hub’ to access information on Norwich Union’s Motor, Home and Travel insurance offerings, obtain quotes and buy insurance via a click-through to Norwich Union Direct. Plus, they will continue to benefit from Driveaway’s seven days’ free car insurance available on eBay Motors.
In summary, this unique partnership will offer eBay customers:
