York based Norwich Union Life, one of the largest employers in York, is proud to announce that it has agreed a one year deal to be the main sponsor of the new “Yorkshire Wheel” – Yorkshire’s first large wheel tourist attraction.
The arrival of the wheel will put York alongside other major cities in the UK such as London and Manchester by providing local people and tourists with the opportunity to view the city from a new perspective. Contractors will be erecting the 60 metre high wheel, at the National Railway Museum, over the next few days – with the wheel ready to take its first passengers on Friday 7 April.
