On 13 February 2006, the members of Jong Management group from The Hague, a network of business people, directors and managers under 40, paid a visit to Delta Lloyd Care. The board of Delta Lloyd had invited the members to visit in order to inform them about the management aspects of the new health insurance system.

Sales director Leo Seijsener welcomed the guests with an explanation of the adaptation of the health division. Gert Jan Wissink, from policy development, spoke about the basic cover, the connection between healthcare and income and the expected subjects for debate. Paul van Hecking Colenbrander, team leader Policy, Product Management & Communication, explained how the organisation is being prepared for the implementation and application of the Health Insurance Act. This was based on several partial projects. Carrying out impact analyses and modifying systems were central to this.

The members of Jong Management deliberately chose to visit Delta Lloyd because of the current interest in the new health insurance system. Amongst other matters, they asked questions about privatisation, price competition, profitability and whether or not there would be a higher premium for an unhealthy lifestyle. Both parties can look back on a successful, interactive meeting.

Jong Management has 30 regional groups with 40 members on average each.

The network holds monthly regional meetings where information, knowledge and experience are exchanged. Jong Management also makes regular visits to businesses.
