RAC plc, the motoring and vehicle solutions company, announces that John Warren, Group Finance Director of W H Smith PLC, has been appointed to the Board as a non-executive director with effect from 1 September 2003.
RAC plc, the motoring and vehicle solutions company, announces that John Warren, Group Finance Director of W H Smith PLC, has been appointed to the Board as a non-executive director with effect from 1 September 2003.
John, a Chartered Accountant, became Group Finance Director of W H Smith PLC in September 2000 after almost 20 years’ service with United Biscuits (Holdings) plc, where he also held the role of Group Finance Director. From March 1994 to May 2003 he was a non-executive director of Rexam PLC, and its Deputy Chairman from 1998.

John Warren has also been appointed to the Audit, Remuneration and Nominations Committees of the RAC plc Board with effect from 1 September 2003.
