Norwich Union Life has been awarded a five-star rating in the market report section of the 2002 ‘Study into the Funds Management and Life Insurance Market in Australia’, conducted by Taylor Management Consultants.

Norwich Union Life has been awarded a five-star rating in the market report section of the 2002 ‘Study into the Funds Management and Life Insurance Market in Australia’, conducted by Taylor Management Consultants.

In recognition of the quality administration processes, Norwich Union has been ranked first out of 15, in the areas of underwriting and commission administration.

Excellent results were also received for post-sale administration, integrity, sales support, e-business efficiency, customer focus and claims management focus.

This follows strong results in 2000 and 2001 when Norwich Union received second place ratings in underwriting and new business policy administration.

The Taylor study is an annual survey of over 1,500 financial advisers, planners and brokers, examining the performance of individual providers in the funds management and life insurance market in Australia.

Allan Griffiths, managing director of Norwich Union Life, said the strong results were further proof of Norwich Union’s commitment to supply first rate service and products to independent financial advisers.

According to the Taylor report, Norwich Union’s results are consistent across all benchmark categories, administration services, image and reputation, product quality, funds management performance, staff performance and marketing categories.

“The Taylor Study is the main comparative study for this industry and it is rewarding to see so many of Norwich Union’s functions rating very highly – especially underwriting.”

“This research is independent proof of Norwich Union’s commitment to underwriting, new business, claims and client service. It also highlights the importance of consistent delivery of excellent services,” said Allan.

Allan Griffiths is available for interview.
