Hibernian Life & Pensions scooped three of the top awards at the second annual National Marketing & Sales Awards 2002. Sponsored by the Irish Independent and The Marketing Institute, and presented at a gala dinner at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin, the awards attracted entrants from Ireland’s leading companies and brands.

Effectively the Oscars for Irish marketing and sales, the awards cover all industries and services. In each of the 24 categories the list was reduced to four finalists who demonstrated exceptional talent. Hibernian Life & Pensions was short listed in five categories and won in three: Ian Veitch, Director of Marketing, and his team won Marketing Team of the Year, Maeve Bambrick and the Life New Business Team won Customer Care Team of the Year, and Michael Cosgrave won Sales Manager of the Year.

Commenting after the awards ceremony Grant Barrans, Managing Director Hibernian Life & Pensions, said: “I am delighted Hibernian is associated with the National Marketing & Sales Awards. Winning three key awards in the face of such strong competition is a great honour for all concerned, and allows us to recognise the talents and professionalism that exist within the company."
