Financial advisers around Australia say Navigator is THE ‘Best in the Industry’ according to the 2001 ASSIRT Service Awards announced in Sydney last night.
Overall, Navigator won five of a possible seven awards, including the industry’s highest accolade, voted on by 495 randomly selected advisers. The awards are:
- Best in Industry – 2001 ASSIRT Service Award
- Best Masterfund/Wrap account – 2001 ASSIRT Service Award
- Best Administration Support – 2001 ASSIRT Service Award
- Effectiveness of Communication – 2001 ASSIRT Service Award
- Best Marketing Support – 2001 ASSIRT Service Award
Norwich Union CEO Rob Garnsworthy described Navigator’s performance as a tremendous team effort.
“The entire company has pulled together behind Navigator over the last year – and it is very satisfying to see us deliver such good performance to our customers, the financial advisers.”

Norwich Union tied for third position with Perpetual in the ASSIRT Service Level Awards Fund Manager Rankings and achieved a top ten position in Investment Institution Service Rankings. Portfolio Partners, Norwich Union’s investment arm also recently won the Judges Choice for the Most Innovate Fund of the Year by Personal Investor magazine.
According to Marc Mengler, Managing Director of Navigator, it is a humbling experience to receive such recognition.
