The three branches allow customers to take advantage of a relaxed atmosphere and complimentary tea and coffee whilst browsing any property on the YOUR MOVE Direct website, www.your-move.co.uk/direct. In addition customers are able to carry out internal and external tours of any property listed on this website without even stepping inside the front door. The Asserta Home website and other local agents' websites can also be viewed providing access to literally thousands of properties nationwide.
Head of YOUR MOVE's marketing, Scott Anscomb commented: "Our research showed that the internet was not an area everyone thought about when buying a house. We therefore came up with the idea of the new style branches which would enable customers to go in and view properties on a number of websites with the added benefit of YOUR MOVE staff being on hand to help provide an efficient and stress-free service.
As confidence grows more and more people will then access the same websites at home whenever they want. Customers will also be attracted to our substantial reduction in estate agency fees - for example, in Richmond where fees usually run into thousands, YOUR MOVE Direct charges a flat fee of Ł799 (plus VAT#).
We realise we are extending the boundaries of the traditional high street estate agency but with a number of sales in the first few weeks we believe this is the way forward when buying a house can be conceived as a tiresome chore."
