Aviva India is the country’s fourth best company to work for and the top financial services company, according to an annual study conducted by the Great Places to Work Institute (GPTW) India and The Economic Times, the leading business newspaper in India.

What’s more, we were the only insurance company to figure in the Top 25 employers.
The annual survey assesses companies from various industries across India. This year, more than 373 Indian companies across 25 industries took part.
The survey used a variety of feedback mechanisms to evaluate each company’s employee practices. Employee feedback was an important factor, counting for two thirds of the overall score. The other third came from an in-depth, independent study of workplace culture and people processes.
Nearly 200 randomly chosen employees across Aviva India answered questions under five categories: fairness, camaraderie, credibility, pride and respect towards their employer. Finally, to establish credibility, the GPTW team called around 15 of those employees at random and questioned them about their comments.
