New group finance director to join Aviva on 10 May

Aviva plc ("Aviva") has confirmed that Andrew Moss will take up his new position as group finance director on 10 May 2004.

Aviva plc ("Aviva") has confirmed that Andrew Moss will take up his new position as group finance director on 10 May 2004.

The company announced in January that Andrew (46) would be joining Aviva from Lloyd's of London, where he is currently director – finance, risk management and operations.

He will become a main board executive director of Aviva plc, subject to the necessary regulatory approvals.

Philip Twyman, who took on the responsibility of the group finance director role from 1 January 2004, will retire from the group at his normal retirement date of March 31 2004. In the interim, until Andrew Moss joins the company, Philip Easter, managing director – group finance will oversee Aviva’s group finance function, reporting to Richard Harvey, group chief executive.
