Objectives Progress against objectives
Increase participation in the employee survey compared to 2006 Our employee representative group, Your Forum, was consulted on questions to be included in the 2007 employee survey. Although the level of participation did not increase, it was close to 2006’s level.
Re-launch the career framework This was launched as Talking Talent.
Promote networks supporting diversity, with specific attention to the roll-out of Pride Aviva The Women’s network continues to be embedded into the fabric of Aviva and celebrated its anniversary.
Pride Aviva has been rolled out successfully.
Launch computer-based training on health and safety Delayed until 2008 where it will be linked in the Aviva Group Centre induction process as well as the roll out of Cardinus.
Fund self defence classes for employees Following incidents near St Helen’s, Aviva Group Centre paid for employees to attend self defence classes.
