Why not go electronic?
With the recent changes brought about by the Companies Act 2006, the way in which companies can communicate with their shareholders has changed.
Aviva has chosen to take full advantage of current technology to allow information to be accessed and communicated much more easily. These technologies also mean that much less paper is used and much less waste produced than previously.

Retail shareholder centre
We have recently launched a new Shareholder centre, with our aim being to make it an efficient, easy-to-use way of managing your shareholding online, while providing you with all the information you need in a clear and concise way.
Many useful features are available, including the e-communications facility, run by our registrar, Equiniti. This allows you to manage your shareholding online via aviva.com. And we now have a Shareholder guide – an informative resource for shareholders, prospective shareholders and those wanting to find out more about Aviva and the basics of owning shares in a PLC.

Investor tools
We have created a set of tools allowing you to customise your experience in the Aviva.com Investor section, giving you quick access to the information and features that you need.
The tools are available on the right-hand side of the section and only require a short registration process, so that we can save your settings for your next visit.
Some of the features available once you have registered include:
- Your page – create a page with the content that is relevant for you
- Aviva alerts – edit your e-mail subscription or choose an RSS content feed
- Reading list – for information that you don't have time to read straight away
- Bookmarks – links to important pages can be kept and saved
- Dates of interest – keep your own list of key dates from our Financial calendar
- Share management – a quick-access login area for retail shareholders
- Glossary – search for key terms view matching definitions
- Notes – enables you to create and save text notes
